Yesterday we went to the Famine museum and there they explained to us the history of potatoes in Ireland and because of that now we understand why or host family always eat them,
Many years ago people in Ireland were poor so the only food they had to eat was potatoe. In skibbereen there is a cemetery where they died 10 thousand people because of the famine,
Ayer fuimos al museo de la hambruna, y nos explicaron la historia de esta en Irlanda y por eso ahora entendemos porque nuestras familias nos cocinan todo con patatas.
Hace muchos anos la gente en Irlanda era pobre y la unica comida de la que ellos disponian era de patatas. En skibbereen hay un cementario donde murieron 10 mil personas debido a la hambruna.

After that we went to Baltimore, we walked for a long time seeing the cliffs, and then we went to the salted lake which is the only one in Ireland. The weather was very good and we could enjoy the views.
Despues fuimos a Baltimore, andamos un buen rato viendo los acantilados, y luego fuimos al unico lago salado de Irlanda. El tiempo era muy bueno y pudimos disfrutar mucho las vistas.
